Rangers begin their post-split games at home to Motherwell next weekend while Hearts are at Easter Road for an Edinburgh derby against Hibernian and third-place Celtic host Falkirk.

McPake set up fellow call-up James Wilson's equaliser in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat by Falkirk for his sixth assist of the season, while he has scored twice.

Why are United thriving away from Tannadice?
You could make a case we should have beaten Rangers and Falkirk at Tannadice, but we didn't. The trips to Kilmarnock and St Mirren, though, produced two magnificent performances. Tannadice on match days can be an unforgiving place.
'Room for improvement' after solid Saints start
Manager Simo Valakari is not surprised by St Johnstone's solid start to the Scottish Premiership season but admits "there is a lot of room for improvement as well". As they look to continue their positive start at home to Falkirk on Saturday, Valakari and his players appear to be keeping their feet firmly on the ground. Finn Valakari is braced for a tough challenge this weekend against a Falkirk side that got their first league win of the season in midweek with a 2-1 home success over Hearts.
