Aberdeen lose 500 semi-final tickets after pitch invasion
Aberdeen have their ticket allocation cut for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Rangers following a pitch invasion and pyrotechnics display from fans in the previous round.
Aberdeen's attacking issues laid bare
The 48 chances created by Stephen Robinson's side is the lowest tally in the division - same for their 37 chances from open play - while they have the fewest shots on target (18) and second-fewest shots (70). It must be noted Aberdeen haven't had the kindest fixtures, with Robinson keen to point out they have faced five of last season's top-six teams in their opening seven games. Eight points have been accrued, leaving the Dons seventh in a congested table and just two points shy of fourth, so there's no reason for panic.

'Encouraging but consistency needed'
Hibs fans, we asked for your views on Saturday's Premier Sports Cup quarter-final victory over Ross County. The Jekyll and Hyde performance of Hibs continues and it will be interesting to see if Thibault Klidje and Ante Suto are afforded more opportunities in next two games against Killie and Aberdeen which we should and must aim for six points in. Jury is still out on this team as consistency has been elusive so far.

Stark contrast with McLeish shows Robinson's Dons identity crisis
On Saturday, before his team's top-of-the-table clash with Celtic, I asked St Mirren manager Craig McLeish how easy it has been to implement the style of football that is enthralling the Paisley club's supporters amid their then unbeaten start to the league season. The man who led the Saints youth team under Aberdeen boss Stephen Robinson has produced a side that plays an exciting, fast-paced brand of football with a clear identity already. Eight new signings started the narrow defeat to the champions as well as Fraser Taylor, who was on loan at Partick Thistle last season.
Kerjota transformative - but has he earned a start?
If Hearts' mentality was in question after that late collapse against Aberdeen just over a month ago, Sunday's stoppage-time winner from Sabah Kerjota offered a pretty emphatic response. This was a side showing the resilience Wouter Vrancken is trying to build. VAR Andrew Dallas intervened in two major incidents missed by referee Chris Graham, while the introduction of supersub Sabah transformed hope into genuine belief.

Robinson to judge new Aberdeen side '15 games in'
Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson says it would be "crazy" to judge his new-look side so early in the Scottish Premiership season. Fort Bragg Veteran celebrates expansion of high-end experiential entertainment brand
Photo provided by EscapologyAfter 15 years as an Army officer at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville resident Dan Cooke transitioned to business ownership to bring high-end experiential entertainment to North Carolina, applying strict military operational systems to scale his footprint across the state.Cooke got his start in the Armyβs Boots to Business program.βBoots to Business was instrumental in preparing me to start a company. The program taught me how to develop a business plan, conduct market and financial analysis and critically evaluate whether a business concept was actually viable,β shared Cooke. βWhat made the program particularly valuable was that the instructors and mentors had real-world business experienceβ¦At the end of the course, I had to present and defend that plan. From there, they directed me to SCORE, where mentors helped me further refine the plan. I eventually presented it to a bank, which was impressed with the level of preparation, and I secured the financing necessary to build the business.βAs Cooke neared the end of his military career, he began to wonder what would come next. Through his faith and some valuable mentors, he found the right avenue for his entrepreneurial interests.βWhile working on my instrument pilot rating, my flight instructor happened to tell me about escape rooms and the economics behind building them. He thought they could make for an interesting business. I took the analytical skills I had developed in the military, along with what I learned through Boots to Business, and began comparing the escape-room model against other opportunities I was considering,β explained Cooke. Cooke opened his first Escapology location in Fayetteville in 2019.βMy approach was to start small and prove the model. Fayetteville made sense because I was already there, understood the market and could minimize my initial risk. It also became clear very quickly that I needed a partner that could provide the creative design, branding and industry knowledge that I did not have. After researching a number of options, Escapology became that partner,β added Cooke.Following the success of his initial venue in Fayetteville and a venue in Charlotte that opened in 2023, Cooke recently expanded into Raleigh with his third Escapology venue at Crabtree Valley Mall. His North Carolina footprint now includes:Fayetteville: A 5-room venue launched right after his Army transition in 2019.Charlotte: A 10-room venue opened in 2023, doubling his original operational footprint.Raleigh (Crabtree Valley Mall): A 6-room venue opened in May 2026, with plans to expand to 10 full rooms.Beyond his venues, Cooke expanded his local footprint by launching Jade Solutions in Aberdeen, N.C., an OEM manufacturing business that now builds prop and technical solutions for Escapology venues systemwide.Cooke shared that his long-term goal is to continue expanding Escapology in a healthy and sustainable way while enjoying the journey. βI actually did not start an entertainment business because I personally loved escape rooms. I started a business because I love the game of business itself. Growing up, I loved military simulation games and business tycoon games. I eventually had the opportunity to experience the first of those in the real world β I went to war, led troops and played my part in the military. Today, I would much rather apply that same drive to the real-world game of building businesses.I don't play business computer games anymore. I get to wake up and do it for real every day,β shared Cooke.

St Mirren v Livingston: Pick of the stats
St Mirren have lost just one of their past 16 Scottish Premiership meetings with Livingston (W7 D8), going down 1-0 away from home in February 2024. Livingston won their first-ever Premiership visit to St Mirren 2-0 in August 2018, but have since failed to win 10 such trips in the competition (D4 L6), losing their past four in a row and failing to score in their latest three. Depending on Kilmarnock's result at Aberdeen, Livingston could be relegated this weekend should they fail to beat St Mirren.

Dundee can take nothing for granted in bottom-six battle
For all I have been praising Dundee in recent times, the stark truth is they find themselves in their current predicament because their points return has not been good enough having won just two of their past 12 Premiership games. Head coach Steven Pressley praised the "character", "personality" and "resilience" his side showed as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Killie last Saturday. In the 15 league games the Dark Blues have played against the other teams in the bottom half this season β Dundee United, Aberdeen, St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Livingston - Pressley's side have won five, drawn six and lost four.
Dons boss Robinson will not relax until safety is secured
Stephen Robinson does not want Aberdeen to relax during their two-week break after they recorded a much-needed 2-0 win over Hibernian to boost their William Hill Premiership survival hopes. Kevin Nisbet netted from the penalty spot after Grant Hanley was sent off for hauling down Toyosi Olusanya and the Scotland striker added a second with 15 minutes to go to end a nine-match winless league run. The Dons are five points above Kilmarnock, who sit in the relegation play-off spot with five games to play, and the two teams clash at Pittodrie in the next round of Premiership fixtures which does not take place until April 25.

How should Thelin's time at Aberdeen be remembered?
For a generation of Dons supporters, the Swede was responsible for orchestrating arguably their finest day in last May's Scottish Cup triumph against Celtic. With the Glasgow club chasing a domestic treble, Thelin formulated a plan to nullify Brendan Rodgers' men to take a nerve-shredding 1-1 game to extra time. Penalties would follow, with goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov earning himself legendary status at Pittodrie, along with Thelin.
Aberdeen 1-1 Dundee United: What the manager said
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin is content with the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen but admits that his side's inability to convert draws into wins is holding them back in the Scottish Premiership. "I think the draw is probably the right result," he told Premier Sports. While Goodwin lamented the six draws in the latest 10 games, he added: "It is better a draw than a defeat and we have played four top-six teams in the last four games and haven't been beaten."
