BYU–Hawaii Student Writes Novel Promoting Mental Health Awareness in the Philippines
English and psychology senior Yvenna Laine Pomarejo says that storytelling is more than a way to imagine a better world; it is a way to help understand the world we live in. Inspired by her Filipino culture and desire to raise mental health awareness, Pomarejo turned to writing a young adult novel.
